Randy Baumgardner: State House District 57 - Candidate for Senate District 8

IT IS FINISHED! The Reaportionment Commission has completed its work, the Colorado Supreme Court has heard the arguments and ruled that District 57 should be changed. Jackson County and Grand County will be attached to the Front Range Counties of Boulder and Gilpin. The new District 57 will include Rio Blanco, Moffat and Garfield. And the new District 26 will include Routt and Eagle.

LEGISLATIVE REDISTRICTING. The Colorado Reapportionment Commission is charged with redrawing Colorado’s 35 State Senate and 65 State House of Representative districts.

I have been reapportioned out of existing House District 57, but I believe that I have more to offer the citizens of Northwestern Colorado. You deserve a consistent conservative voice to speak for you at the Capitol. After much thought and speaking with many constituents, I have decided to run for the Senate District 8. I do not undertake this race lightly, but feel that you need a choice. My wife, Lori and I appreciate your support during my time as your Representative and hope that you can support me as your Senate Candidate.
